Smart Protection 2012 is a new rogue Malware infection released on January 18, 2012. This infection shows fake warning signs and alerts in an attempt to get you to purchase this fake application. These fake scans are run upon bootup of your computer. Although these applications look real, they are not real. This particular infection is downloaded onto your computer through vulnerabilities in your Microsoft operating system.
