Remove Windows 7 Home Security 2012

Windows 7 Home Security 2012 is a new variant changing infection that identifies which version of Windows you have installed on your computer.  For example, if you have Windows 7 Home version installed, you will see this specific infection.  This infection can bundle in rootkits (rootkits are invisible files that attaches themselves to the kernel level driver of your computer, these very harmful files are difficult to remove) along with other fake antivirus definitions.  The blocking capabilities of real removal software have also been upgraded, so you will have problems installing removal software in normal mode.  Below you will find step by step instructions on how to remove this infection in Safe Mode.  Our research team has classified this infection as Rogue Anti-Spyware / Rogue Anti-Malware.

What is Windows 7 Home Security 2012

Windows 7 Home Security 2012 will show fake scan results on your computer screen to trick you into believing your computer is corrupted by a virus.  Its main goal is to trick customers into purchasing their fake software.  Along with tricking you into purchasing this software, this infection will show you that every legitimate program on your computer is corrupted or infected.

Note: Please do not purchase this infection or attempt to purchase it as Windows 7 Home Security 2012 can steal your credit card information and other personal information.  If you did purchase this rogue infection, please call your credit card company immediately to notify them of the fraudulent order.

We highly recommend getting this infection off the the computer as soon as possible.  The longer this infection stays on the computer, the more damage it will do to your system.

Today’s Malware infections are very advanced. Even your most up to date AV solutions cannot always protect you against rogue Malware infections. Your best bet is to be careful while surfing the web, keep your AV up to date, and configuring your firewall properly.

If you have been infected, follow the instructions on our virus removal page and you should be back to normal in no time. Good Luck.

This thing keeps getting past my Avast antivirus. I’ve removed it using Spybot and Malwarebytes, but in sneaks back in every few days. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Malwarebytes is not installing. When I click to the download link, it pops up and then goes away immediately. Am I doing something wrong? How do I remove this infection without downloading Malwarebytes or any other software? Thanks
